Source hierarchy
Current official documentation and the official API rank first. Foundation statements are used for protocol-level descriptions. Third-party pages help identify search intent and comparison questions but do not establish fee, referral or risk facts.
When an interface value and a static page disagree, the live official order preview governs the decision. We publish the date reviewed and link the source next to technical claims.
Calculation policy
Dollar OI is derived from base OI multiplied by mark price. Impact spread is derived from official impact bid and ask around mid. Simple annualized funding multiplies the current hourly rate by 24 × 365 and is explicitly not a forecast.
The cost calculator keeps trading fees, referral savings, funding, slippage, bridge and extra execution costs separate. Negative funding remains a credit rather than being clamped to zero.
Source-drift monitoring
A read-only script fetches critical official pages, records a content hash and fails when a source disappears or its monitored facts are absent. It never edits production copy automatically.
A flagged change requires editorial review, formula tests and a new review date. This prevents an upstream layout change from silently rewriting economic terms.
Affiliate and uncertainty policy
The site may earn referral rewards from code AWD. That relationship is disclosed on pages where activation occurs and in the footer. It does not turn estimates into guarantees.
We label protocol claims, derived values, live timestamps and degraded feeds. We do not claim code audits, legal status, future availability, guaranteed returns or guaranteed execution.
